In 2007, the business took a transformative step when David opened the first retail store named David Christopher’s in Florence, Alabama. By 2012, the retail operation had moved to its current Sheffield location to consolidate with the family’s wholesale business, and by 2014, David had assumed leadership of the entire operation alongside his wife, Jennifer, who oversees marketing, human resources, and day-to-day operations. Together, they’ve expanded the company’s reach with permanent showrooms in Sheffield and at AmericasMart in Atlanta, while developing the David Christopher’s Collection—an international brand featuring David’s distinctive product designs.
